| Braden's 1st Birthday (Photos) |

 Despite Mother Nature's best efforts to derail everything, Braden's first birthday party (celebrated 10 days early, as we'll be on vacation during his actual birthday) went off without a hitch. The rain stopped just in time for grilling out, and even a round of croquet. Thanks to everyone who came and made it a memorable day. Braden seemed to have a ball playing with his new toys, hamming it up for the crowd by standing up and taking his first step in front of everyone completely unprovoked, and especially, eating his cake! I posted some pictures, but if you have others, please email me, as our camera was stuck with the flash off, causing most of ours to come out a blurry mess.

 So Braden is growing up fast! He's now 5 months old, and getting ready
for his first Christmas. He's active and likes to play. What fun!

 Braden sure is growing up fast. Smiling at us, rolling over, laughing, and generally having a good time. I posted some more photos over in the Fun Stuff area (click Fun Stuff on the blue nav bar above) as Braden has grown up from 8 to 12 weeks. I hope to have some videos to post soon.

Braden had his 2nd doctor's appointment today. Everything went very well. The doctor litterally said that we are doing everything perfectly, which is good to hear. Braden is strong, growing and doing very well in every aspect of his development. He was 9lbs 3oz. and 20.5 inches long. He's in the 25th to 50th percentile in all areas (weight, length, head circumference). That might sound low, but it's actually pretty amazing. He wasn't even on the charts when was born. He's increased his weight by 50%. The equivalent of a 120 person putting on 50 to 60 pounds in 1 month. The doctor just kept giving him rave reviews!
